Director of Digital Marketing

Executive Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing outdoor apparel brand. We are looking for the perfect fit to join our team as we scale and grow our business. The E-Commerce Marketing Coordinator will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with company goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including creative design, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. This individual must be an extremely organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines. Most importantly, this person needs to be resourceful, have a positive attitude, and be a great communicator. Jeep lovers a plus!

Basic Functions:

  • Support Director of Digital Marketing in development & execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Develop, monitor, write and update product content on website.
  • Assist in asset creation across all mediums (social, website, text, email)
  • Social Media
    • Develop & execute social media calendar across multiple platforms
    • Create engaging organic content.
    • Daily community management
  • Customer Service
    • Ability to jump in and help with customer service communications during peak holidays & busy times.
    • This includes, but is not limited to, responding to customer email, phone calls, & chats.
    • Intimate knowledge of product catalog 

Required Education / Experience / Specific Job-Related Skills

  • Resourceful, Driven & Positive - this role requires someone who does not require much hand holding, someone who is comfortable taking the initiative to learn, and driven internally to perform their best.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Marketing or similar role.
  • BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, E-Commerce or Advertising.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly & work across multiple channels.
  • Experience with Excel, Google Analytics & Google Suite a plus.
  • Must be effective with time management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • This position is located at our Warehouse in Baltimore, Maryland.
    • Ideal candidate would be able to work on premise, with the possibility of a hybrid remote schedule based on performance.
